Adkins Great; Crowd Not So Much
Trace Adkins sounded great, but unfortunately I couldn’t see him. I was seated on a walk-thru path and expected people to be going by during the show. What I didn’t expect was for people to use that area for dancing. Once the ushers got that under control, another problem arose. Three rows in front there were young men and women sitting two to a seat. This made the girls’ heads so much higher than those around and it was impossible to see the stage. My husband pointed this out to the usher and was told that they paid for the seats in that row and they could use them however they wanted! This was surprising to us. So you can squeeze as many people as you want onto your seats because you paid for that area. My husband went to the end of our row to take a picture for me and was immediately told to go back to his assigned seat. We had people from out of nowhere stand in front of seats as the occupants left and then trouble ensued when they returned and new people were there. I had beer spilled down my back several times because the rows were too close together. The crowd, ushers and venue left a lot to be desired but Trace Adkins SOUNDED great.
